Sam is drawn by strange forces to a mysterious island off the coast of Britain. There he is drawn into the life of the local inhabitants. Cut off from the rest of the world, they live according to their own rituals which make the hero remember again the trauma from the deep past. When the line between reality and fiction begins to blur, Sam realizes that his life is under threat.
