Overview
The location of the series is the Red Dwarf spacecraft. A deadly radiation release killed all life on the ship except for junior technician Dave Lister who was in the time decelerator, and his pregnant cat Frankenstein who was in the cargo hold. Holly, the Red Dwarf's onboard computer, keeps Lister in a decelerator until the radiation level drops to a safe level, which takes 3000000 years.
