The events of this show take place in the beginning of the age when Britannia was inhabited by very belligerent Celtic tribes. They were not ready to be taken over by the foreigners came from far south. During the Roman conquest of Britannia, two warring Celtic shield-maidens, Kerra and Antedia, had to join their forces to confront the Roman legions under the leadership of Aulus Plautius.
